School Year
This class is a nature – based education taught entirely in Spanish, offering you and your child a meaningful opportunity to step into language learning through connection with nature, creativity, and play. Each week we take Spanish outdoors and bring it to life through hands-on experiences that weave together science, art, literature, dance, cooking, and/or music.
Our approach is intentional and immersive; designed to help children build language naturally while engaging their senses, curiosity, and imagination in a supportive community setting.
Your teacher is a native Spanish speaker who is creative, enthusiastic, caring, and deeply passionate about early childhood education and nature-based learning. She is excited to welcome your family and walk alongside you in this journey.
All Spanish levels are welcome.
We meet every Tuesday:
• Group A: 10:00–11:00 AM
• Group B: 12:15–1:15 PM
We offer 5 sessions throughout the school year, and families are welcome to register for as many sessions as they would like. Each session is unique, with new themes, experiences, and activities. We have created materials for more than 30 different classes, making every session a fresh opportunity for exploration, learning, and connection.
Each session lasts 6 weeks (6 classes / 6 Tuesdays). Our first session of the 2026–2027 school year is free (5 classes) for all registered families, thanks to our partnership with Havenwoods State Forest. The remaining sessions (6 classes each) are $120 per session, with a maximum of 12 children per class.
Sessions are at Havenwood State Forest (6141 N Hopkins St, Milwaukee WI 53209).
Fall: Apples, Day of the Dead, Migration, etc.
Winter: Weather, Snow, Animal Tracks, etc.
Spring: Plants, Ancient Cultures, Birds, etc.
Summer: Frogs, Shapes in Nature, Pollinators, etc.

Class activities will be held outdoors as long as possible and masks are optional. Semillitas continues monitoring local and public health guidelines for COVID, and some changes may happen before or during the session.
